30 / Passeig del Born, Barcelona, Spain
Is situated on the south east corner of the wide medieval street lined with 14th century buildings. Its central axis once used for jousting matches as its name "Born" Catalan for jousting suggests is now a tree lined pedestrian walkway. Connecting Eastward from the Born Cultural Center a former market turned museum exhibiting excavated ruins to the west with the basilica of Santa maria de mar; a church who's towering columns greatly inspired Gaudi masterpiece Sagrada Famila.
A commemorative plaque on the exterior tells us that a famous Spanish operatic tenor Jaume Aragall i Garriga resides in this building in the flats above a trendy bar.
